  1. Apple Crisp

  3. 4 cups peeled, sliced apples
  4.  
  5. Add sugar, cinnamon to taste.  (1/4 - 1/3 c sugar, 1 teas cinnamon)
  6. Arrange in buttered baking dish.

  8. 1 cup rolled oats           1/4 teas salt
  9. 1/2 cup flour               1 teas cinnamon
  10. 1/2 cup brown sugar,        1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  11.     firmly packed               or margarine
  12.  
  13. Mix dry ingredients together.  Add butter.  Blend well with a fork.
  14. Spread on top of apples; press down lightly.  Bake until topping 
  15. is brown and apples are tender when tested with a fork.
  16. Bake:  350F  30-40 minutes
